This little Gem is amazing!! Very Retro, super super clean, the bar is so perfect with everything you would want a Wisconsin Tavern to have! However where Acorn Ridge will be set apart from all other little roadside Motels is the genuine warmth and hospitality that comes from its owners. They care!! They are glad you are there and want you to have fun and want to know your name. You will leave feeling like you met friends!!! We will be back!!
After a long days’ travel we were delighted to find refuge at the Acord Ridge! Mark and Mae provided wonderful hospitality and proved to be fast friends. Cannot recommend enough! Their new bar is awesome, what a gem!
We loved our stay here at Acorn Ridge Motel! The rooms are super cute, clean and comfortable! We came for an overnight and shopped in Princeton and Ripon for Christmas! The owners were very nice and the rooms are great. They kept it mostly original which I love! The bar downstairs is the perfect place to unwind before bed!
Very nice small motel. Very retro in a good way. The rooms were clean amd fresh. The beds were comfortable. The owners were very friendly. Reasonably priced. When we asked for a restaurant recommendation we loved what they suggested!
Had the pleasure of staying at the Acorn Ridge Motel a couple weeks ago and I am still in awe of how hospitble Mark and May were... This place can do no wrong and I cannot wait to return. Rooms are great, the bar is awesome, and the owners are top notch people! Cannot wait to bring more friends back via the golf packages they offer!
Room was vintage but very, very clean (except the carpet in my room could use a shampoo). Cute 50's style pink sink and toilet. There was even the paper strip across the seat which I haven't seen in years, lol. Blue wall tiles and tub were immaculate. Bedding was very clean and beds as comfortable as my own. Pillows new and fluffy. Small microwave and very cold mini fridge. About 5-7 minutes out of downtown Princeton. Nothing in walking distance, but location and adjoining rooms were quiet and peaceful. Parking was very good, right outside your door. Problem with my phone online due to wifi non-connectivity, but I was too tired to figure it out. No big deal to me. Room smelled a bit musty even with AC on, but I'm guessing because it rained heavy 2 days prior to my arrival. Mae, the owner is a doll and sweet as she could be. I would visit again next time I go up that way and would recommend. It's a clean, simple room to rest and refresh with a friendly host.
Mark and May are amazing, and everything about the Acorn is as good as it gets. I came up here with friends to play Lawsonia right before a Wisconsin football weekend, and the highlight of the whole trip was hanging with them at their new bar and hearing their story. Amazing people and hospitality. A fantastic experience. If you are a golfer in the Midwest and coming up for golf in Wisconsin, this place is a must visit!
We had the best time at acorn ridge! The owners are the nicest and make you feel right at home. Can’t wait for to come back! Super clean and cool old school rooms. The bar is excellent now and will be even better when it’s finished! Immaculate vibes 10/10
